IMG_0607Himalayan Travel Mart, which was held from the 1st of June to the 4th concluded on a very high note. The main objective of the Travel Mart was to establish Nepal, as a Gateway to the Himalaya. The outcome hopefully places, the nation in a positive light, in the international arena, as a destination capable of hosting events of such international level. The event saw a participation of around 74 Buyers from 36 Countries, and 50 plus Sellers, representing the Himalayan Region, like Bhutan, India, Tibet, Indonesia and Nepal.

Kathmandu, 22 May 2017: The 4 days PATA annual summit hosted by Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, National Tourism Body of Sri Lanka, Ministry of Tourism and Christian Affairs with the partnership of United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which was held from May 18-21 in Jetwing Blue, Negombo, Sri Lanka with the theme “Disruption. Innovation, Transformation: The Future of Tourism.”  turned out to be a very fruitful event.

HTM-2017-Transparent-LogoKathmandu,  18 May 2017:The organizers of Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2017), the historic B2B mart which is being held from the 1st of June to the 4th of June, in Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu. is nearing the end of it’s preparation, so far, 62 delegates from all over the world have been confirmed to attend the main event, as buyers and 42 participating companies will be exhibiting their businesses as sellers.

20170509_112654Kathmandu, 9 May 2017: PNC proxy sectary Mr Vinaya Shakya and Executive Manager Suresh Singh Budal  meets Nepal Association of Rafting Agents(NARA)  president Mr Chandra Dahal and team in order to discuss the role of NARA to the upcoming Himalayan Travel Mart 2017. NARA president insured to undertake the overall responsibility of rafting program at Trishuli river during the  FAM Trip  scheduled for  international delegates of HTM 2017.  NARA consented to arrange rafting from Majimtar  to Kurintar (about 12km).
