PATA Nepal Chapter in collaboration with NTB, Nepal Airlines, and 11 different travel trade companies made a strong presence at the PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference and Mart 2018. The conference and mart was held from February 21st to 23rd, 2018 in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) with 180 delegates from 33 countries in attendance for the three-day niche event. The event brought together international experts at the forefront of the adventure travel industry from the private and public sectors for a meaningful discussion on the issues and opportunities in travel and tourism.

Nepal’s participation at Adventure Sports Asia Expo (ASEA) 2018 concluded successfully in at Hotel Four Points Sheraton in Delhi on Monday, Jan. 29. PATA Nepal Chapter in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board and National Flag Carrier, Nepal Airlines made an active and successful participation at PATA Travel Mart (PTM) 2017 held from September 13-15 at The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, Macao SAR. The 40th edition of PATA Travel Mart), hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), has attracted 1,131 delegates from 66 global destinations. The delegate numbers embraced 460 sellers from 252 organizations and 37 destinations, along with 293 buyers from 281 organizations and 51 source markets.

IMG_0607Himalayan Travel Mart, which was held from the 1st of June to the 4th concluded on a very high note. The main objective of the Travel Mart was to establish Nepal, as a Gateway to the Himalaya. The outcome hopefully places, the nation in a positive light, in the international arena, as a destination capable of hosting events of such international level. The event saw a participation of around 74 Buyers from 36 Countries, and 50 plus Sellers, representing the Himalayan Region, like Bhutan, India, Tibet, Indonesia and Nepal.
