PATA Nepal Youth Talent Quest (YTQ) 2018 is a campaign to uncover talented young tourism professionals that provides a platform among the students from PNC member colleges to compete and showcase their talent in different aspects (including Public Speaking, Content Writing, and others); empowering them with the necessary training, involvement, and exposure to PNC programs and activities, and engaging them in the best possible way to carve their successful future endeavors.
This year, PNC superintends the 2nd edition of YTQ under two competitions which are as follows:
- PUBLIC SPEAKING:
Public Speaking Competition will judge the students’ ability to speak on the given topic. Students can select any one from following the topic of their preference:
- “SWOT Analysis for Marketing NEPAL at the present context.”
- “Measures to sustain the Human Capitals of Nepal; Steps toward preventing Brain-Drain”
- Time Duration: 10 minutes for speaking and 5 minutes for Q & A session.
- CONTENT WRITING COMPETITION:
Content Writing Competition will judge the students’ ability to write on the given topic on the spot. Students will be given a list of Tourism related topics with word limit under 500 words within a time duration of 1 hour.
Rewards/Prize to the Winners:
One winner from each competition will get an opportunity to be a Student Front Runner in our upcoming national and international events. He/she will be rewarded with a Round Trip Airfare for representing PATA Nepal Student Chapter in forthcoming PATA Travel Mart 2018 that is going to be held on September 12-14 at Langkawi, Malaysia.
