PATA Nepal Chapter attends PATA Annual Summit (PAS 2022) in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

November 03, 2022 | Kathmandu- PATA Nepal Chapter participated in the PATA Annual Summit 2022 (PAS 2022), concluded under the theme ‘Reconnecting the World Sustainably’ in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, from 25th to 27th October 2022, together with 11 delegates from PATA Nepal Chapter. More than 200 delegates from 36 destinations around the world came together at the three-day event PAS 2022, in Ras Al Khaimah, to build a stronger and more resilient tourism economy for the future.

PATA Nepal Chapter Chairman-Mr. Bibhuti Chand Thakur, CEO-Mr. Suresh Singh Budal and Executive Member- Mr. Sunil Bhusal participated at the PATA Chapters Congress held on 25th October 2022 at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. At the chapter congress, PATA Nepal's CEO presented the association's journey through the pandemic and its priorities for recovery and sustainable development of tourism in Nepal.

On the same day, Chairman- Mr. Bibhuti Chand Thakur, in his address to the PATA Board Meeting, emphasized the importance of creating a clean, healthy, friendly, and conducive environment for the next generation of tourism professionals. He also emphasized the need to bolster collective efforts between PATA Chapters around the region to maximize marketing and promotion effectiveness through PATA networks.  

On the eve of 26th October 2022, PATA Nepal CEO- Mr Suresh Singh Budal received the prestigious "PATA Face of the Future 2020" Award during the Dinner Reception and PATA Awards Presentation hosted by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) at Sonara Al Wadi Camp, The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert, in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This is the most prestigious honour by PATA conferred to young tourism professionals in the Asia Pacific region!
