PATA Nepal Student Chapter formed a new executive committee with the chairpersonship of Mr. Nikesh KC (a student representing Mid Valley International College). He succeeds Ms. Rejina Upreti, who was elected as the chairperson on 10th January 2020 till 26th September 2022 and remains in the committee as the immediate past chairperson. Similarly, Mr. Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of PATA Nepal Chapter, remains as Advisor to the Student Chapter.

The newly elected committee consists of 17 Members including Chairperson Mr. Nikesh KC from (Mid- Valley International College), 1st Vice-Chairperson Ms. Pradakshina Hamal (Little Angels’ College of Management), 2nd Vice- Chairperson Ms. Sudha Shakya from (Global College International), Secretary Mr. Rupesh Khadka (Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education), Treasurer Ms. Aastha Bhusal (Citizen College). 

Other Executive Committee Members include Ms. Rafiya Banu (Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management), Ms. Isha Khatiwada (International School of Tourism and Hotel Management), Mr. Manoj Sharma (Atharva Business College), Ms. Anuska Pradhan (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management), Ms. Sujana Dahal (Premier Hotel School), Ms. Sandikshya Kimdang Rai (Gateway College of Professional Studies), Mr. Sunil Pathak (Nepal College of Travel and Tourism Management), Mr. Rishav Maharjan (Kathmandu Academy of Toursim and Hospitality), Ms. Amrita Karki from (Premier College of Hospitality Management), Mr. Sohan Kafle (Aadarsha School of Management), Mr. Paribesh Rajdhami (Sunshine School of Tourism and Hotel Management) and Ms. Kripa Tamang from (Dharan International College of Hotel Management).

The newly elected chairperson, Mr Nikesh KC, expressed happiness in his selection as chairperson of the PATA Nepal Student Chapter extending his gratitude and thanks to all newly elected committee members and PATA for the new opportunity and responsibility.

PATA Nepal Student Chapter refers to a group of students who are interested in Travel & Tourism and studying at a Tourism and Hospitality Management College in Nepal which is a PATA Nepal Chapter Member. Participation in Student Chapter affairs occurs at the local and personal levels, Student Chapter activities are generally designed to benefit student members through locally organized travel and tourism educational programs, community projects, and discussions that deal with tourism affairs or changes within the tourism business environment.
