Overview

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter is one of the independent PATA Chapters worldwide, established in line with the spirit of PATA HQ in 1975 and it has become one and only full-fledged tourism association in Nepal encompassing almost all stakeholders of Nepali tourism (from both public and private sector) including Active government (Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation | Department of Tourism | Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal), NTO (Nepal Tourism Board), National Flag Carrier (Nepal Airlines Corporation), Hotels & Resorts, Airlines, Travel Agencies, Trekking Agencies and Adventure Companies, Educational Institutions, Media, and Other alike secondary Industries.

PATA Nepal Chapter since its inception has been continuously galvanizing the united strength of its membership in the promotion and publicity of tourism in Nepal, thereby committed to distinctively serve its members in building business, people, network, brand, and insights; facilitating many great opportunities to connect internationally and gain access to more than 800+ members in 75 countries of the PATA Community around the world. The chapter organizes HCD Workshops and travel industry training programs, tourism business development, networking, and promotion events, Young Tourism Professionals' engagement, and many other activities that advocate sustainable development of the tourism and hospitality industry.

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) established in 1951, is a not-for-profit association that is internationally acclaimed for acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. The Association provides aligned advocacy, insightful research, and innovative events to its member organizations, comprising 95 governments, state and city tourism bodies, 25 international airlines and airports, 108 hospitality organizations, 72 educational institutions, and hundreds of travel industry companies in the Asia Pacific and beyond.
