Mr. Galeo Saintz Mr. Galeo Saintz is a conservation adventurer, philanthropist, professional speaker, and mountain wilderness guide. A founding member of multiple conservation NGOs, including the mountain conservation trail Rim of Africa and the biodiversity corridor initiative Eden to Addo in South Africa. He is skilled at leading and convening civil society non-profit boards, task teams, and projects for good all with a focus on conservation, trails, and peacebuilding. Saintz is the founding Chairperson of the World Trails Network, an international non-profit associa0on registered in Geneva, Switzerland. He is Co-Chair of the International Union for Conservation’s CEESP Theme on Environment and Peace and its global Task Force on Migration and Environmental Change. Through the World Trails Network, he champions the global trails industry, supporting best practices and sustainable trails, while simultaneously promoting the world’s leading trails and trail destinations. Saintz holds an MSc degree from Schumacher College (UK). He loves wild nature, rock climbing, poetry and sleeping beneath the stars.
