Mr. Prachanda Man Shrestha Mr. Shrestha was engaged in policy planning for tourism development and promotion in Nepal under Ministry of Tourism for more than two decades. A strong advocator in promoting mountain based adventure tourism, community based rural tourism, and event based special interest tourism in Nepal, He led Nepal Tourism Board for four years (2007-11), implementing national campaign of Nepal Tourism Year 2011 which succeeded in doubling the arrivals bringing tourism back on track as an important economic sector during post conflict situation of Nepal. Recently, he is engaged as a senior advisor and consultant in many national Tourism related Associations and Academic Institutions.
