Mr. Shahid Hamid, a Post Graduate in Public Administration from Dhaka University, also received a Diploma Degree in Hospitality Management and General Manager’s Program from Cornell University in New York, USA. Shahid with a career span of over 38 years is a Fellow, Institute of Hospitality, UK is currently the Executive Director of Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort. He is also Chairman of PATA Bangladesh Chapter and a PATA Board Member. Currently, he is Chief Advisor at Regency Hospitality Training Institute. Prior to his tenure at Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort, Shahid also operated Hotel Sarina and the BRAC Center Inn. Further, he is the Chairman and Managing Director of Hospitality Management Consultants Ltd.
