Tourism Recovery Task Force, TRTF-Nepal organized a special webinar on "Crisis Communication & Tourism Recovery" with Mr. Jeff Chatterton (High Risk & Crisis Communication Expert for the Travel & Tourism Industry and a TRTF-Nepal Member) on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

Many borders are still closed or are slowly reopening with effective implementation of safety protocols in place. With the much-awaited Vaccines gradually being available around the world, we are happy and optimistic about reviving our businesses, and although we are yet to observe the vaccine's early availability and its actual effectiveness, we are all in a more positive mindset.

Of course, the ongoing uncertainty and travel restrictions are hurting all in the tourism and hospitality businesses in many countries including Nepal, and with the Coronavirus in its rising trend, we are left with one question - so, what do we do next? How can we build back the customers' faith and trust in us? How can we provide them assurances and sort of guarantee regarding their overall safety as most are still afraid to travel? How can we rebuild credibility with our suppliers or our employees?
