A delegation from the Koshi Tourism Year 2082 team paid a courtesy visit to the PATA Nepal Chapter Office on 24th April 2025, comprising Mr. Bishal Ghimire, Province Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Forest and Environment; Mr. Bhabish Shrestha, Vice Chair of the Koshi Tourism Year Steering Committee; and Mr. Bijaya Nepal, Kathmandu Coordinator for the initiative.

The delegation was warmly received by PATA Nepal Chapter Executive Committee members Ms. Sarita Lama, Mr. Dinesh Maharjan, and CEO Mr. Suresh Singh Budal. Both parties engaged in a productive discussion on potential collaborations and joint initiatives to support the promotion of tourism in Koshi Province.

PATA Nepal Chapter suggested showcasing the Koshi Tourism Year 2082 initiatives at the upcoming 5th Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2025) in Kathmandu as a strategic platform for broader exposure.

Koshi Province, home to Mt. Everest and other majestic Himalayan peaks, boasts stunning natural landscapes, serene hill stations, sacred religious sites, and a rich cultural heritage. Under the theme "Delightful Koshi", the province has declared 2082 as its official tourism year and is set to host the Koshi Province Investment Summit 2025 from May 1–2 in Biratnagar.
