PATA Nepal Chapter with Nepal Tourism Board organized a participation in Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) 2014.

MITT is Russia’s leading and largest travel exhibition. With over 1,800 participating companies that covered 198 destinations, 2014 marks MITT’s 21st edition, held since 1994 which was attended by over 80,000 people and over 30% out of them were the trade visitors The Event has become one of the main industry forums for travel professionals in the Russian Federation and other Countries of Previous Soviet Union (CIS Countries)

Team was headed by the PATA Nepal Chapter Chairman Mr. Suman Pandey and the officials from Nepal Tourism Board. In total, Nepal Tourism Board and 7 private companies from Nepal put up the stalls that Include Aarya Village Travel Pvt Ltd, Adventure Outdoor Treks & Expedition, Explore Himalaya Travel & Adventure, Himalayan Glacier Trekking (P) Ltd, Himalayan Holidays Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd, Tigerland Safari Resort Pvt Ltd and Yeti Pvt. Tour operators and visitors to Nepal stall were informed and updated about Nepal’s tourism and there were talks between the two sides on business tie-ups and signing of new contracts and renewals.

A large number of NRNs living in the Russian Federation visited Nepal Pavilion and expressed happiness towards bigger representation of Nepalese in an organized way. Mr. Madhu Shrestha, Chairman of NRN Russia informed Nepalese delegation of their utmost support to Promote Nepalese Tourism in the Russian Federation and also, assured of their cooperation for better presentation of Nepal in such Sales mission in Russia.
