Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and PATA Nepal Chapter (PNC) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly organize the 5th Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2025), scheduled to be held from 3rd to 5th June 2025 at The Soaltee, Kathmandu. The MoU was signed today at the Nepal Tourism Board by Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of NTB, and Mr. Narendra Deo Bhatta, General Secretary of PNC.
This year’s HTM marks two significant milestones: the 50th Anniversary of the PATA Nepal Chapter and the 75th Anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Annapurna by renowned French mountaineer Maurice Herzog, whose family will be visiting Nepal.
As Nepal’s premier international travel and tourism trade show, HTM 2025 aims to highlight the country’s tourism potential through a dynamic blend of B2B networking, expert-led conferences, and immersive experiences tailored for global buyers, media, influencers, and tourism professionals.
Under the MoU, NTB will serve as the Organizing Partner, providing vital support for branding, promotion, and hospitality for hosted international delegates, while PATA Nepal Chapter will take the lead in curating and executing the event.
HTM 2025 is expected to significantly boost Nepal's international tourism positioning and foster stronger global partnerships for the nation’s travel trade sector.
