We as stakeholders of Tourism & Hospitality are living in the very uncertain and volatile industry; i.e. currently facing the most challenging circumstances we have ever experienced in recent times due to the ongoing pandemic, COVID-19. In response to the crisis, we can only encourage our members to stay calm, vigilant, and put the safety and well-being of our people first.

In connection with PATA’s Human Capital Development mission, we encourage our members to engage your management and employees in productive learning and planning tasks together to build back better a more resilient and sustainable tourism business ahead. As an aid at this critical juncture, PATA Nepal Chapter is pleased to collaborate with the Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE) which is providing a world-class micro-learning portal (Typsy.com) for FREE to the avid learners and Young Tourism Professionals from PATA Nepal Chapter member organizations. You will have access to subscribed paid versions which has a huge range of learning resources generously offered free of cost by GATE College at the moment.  

Typsy is an online learning platform built to make learning fast, fun, and on-the-go with a library of video courses from the world’s best hospitality instructors. By harnessing technology, it is a way to continuously learn new skills and connect with like-minded community members in the industry at large.

We do believe that it would be a very productive and useful medium to build, upgrade, and strengthen the needful skills and competencies required in hospitality businesses. Therefore, we invite all the member organizations to encourage your employees to register before May 10, 2020.
