PATA Nepal Chapter and Nepal Tourism Board Sign Agreement for 6th Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2026)

The PATA Nepal Chapter (PNC) and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) have officially signed an agreement to jointly host the 6th edition of the Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2026), reaffirming their continued collaboration in promoting Nepal as a leading global tourism destination.
Scheduled to take place from June 1 to 4, 2026, at The Plaza, Lalitpur, Kathmandu Valley, HTM 2026 stands as Nepal’s premier international B2B travel and tourism trade event. The event will bring together global buyers, sellers, industry experts, media, influencers, and tourism stakeholders, offering a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi on behalf of the Nepal Tourism Board and Mr. Narendra Bhatta, General Secretary and HTM Convener, on behalf of the PATA Nepal Chapter. Under the agreement, NTB will serve as the “Organizing Partner,” supporting the event through strategic coordination, facilitation, and financial contribution for hosted international delegates, including buyers, speakers, and media representatives. PATA Nepal Chapter, as the event organizer, will lead the planning, promotion, and execution of the event.
HTM 2026 will feature a comprehensive program, including pre-event familiarization tours across key destinations such as Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, Lumbini, and Sindhupalchowk; the HTM Insight Forum and conference sessions; B2B meetings; networking events; and cultural experiences for international delegates.
The continued partnership between NTB and PNC reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Nepal’s global tourism positioning, enhancing destination visibility, and creating impactful business opportunities for the tourism industry.
