PATA Nepal Chapter participated in the joint rally along with all the members of Joint Tourism Coordination Committee-Nepal on the occasion of 7th Mt. Everest Day. During this event Mr. Kanchha Sherpa, the only remaining survivor member of the ascent team of Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr. Tenzing Norgay Sherpa was invited as the Chief Guest. The event was marked with the procession from Thamel to the premises of Nepal Tourism Board where participants belonging to several tourism related organizations took active part. Traditional instruments were played during the procession. Mr. Suman Pandey, Chairman PATA Nepal along with the Presidents of other Tourism Associations lighted 7 candles marking the 7th celebration of the Mt. Everest Day.
