In collaboration with the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), PATA Nepal Chapter facilitated scholarships for two representatives from our member organizations, Mr. Jan Bishwakarma, Executive Director of Khumbila Hotel and Mr. Prem Kumar Danuwar, Director of Simsime Institute of Management, to participate in the 2025 Hong Kong PolyU Winter School. The program was held from January 7–11, 2025, at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong.

 

Held under the theme "Embrace the Future of Hospitality," the Winter School provided valuable insights and training on emerging trends and technologies shaping the hospitality industry, including;

- Making Emerging Technologies Work for Hospitality

- Revolutionising Hospitality HR: Integrating Technology for Talent Acquisition and Management

- Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Hotel Industry

- Gauging Customer Sentiment through Social Media Listening

- Leveraging Big Data for Competitiveness Analysis in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry
