PATA Nepal Chapter team, comprising of Mr. Bibhuti Chand Thakur (Chairman), Mr. Narendra Bhatta (Executive Member), Ms Reetal Rana (Executive Member) and Mr Suresh Singh Budal (CEO) paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Ambassador Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi, at the UAE Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal on 14th October 2022 to discuss the mutual collaboration and support for tourism promotion of Nepal and UAE.
PATA Nepal Chairman, Mr. Thakur briefed His Excellency about PATA's engagement and advocacy roles for the sustainable development of tourism around the world and in particular for Nepal since its inception in 1975 and over the recent years. He further informed about the upcoming PATA Annual Summit 2022 to be held in Ras Al Khaimah from October 25th till 27th 2022 and the future events of PATA Nepal Chapter wherein PATA Nepal will offer necessary cooperation and support through the embassy to support the post-pandemic bilateral tourism recovery initiatives of Nepal as well as UAE.
H.E. Ambassador Saeed H. Al Naqbi thanked the chairman and team for the courtesy visit and reassured of his cooperation and support for the years ahead. He emphasized about the unmatched natural and cultural resources of Nepal should be well utilized and managed for the development of tourism as well as the overall economic prosperity of the country.
