PATA Nepal concludes its Futsal Tournament 2023
Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter, in collaboration with Little Angels' College of Management (LACM), organized the PATA-LA Futsal Tournament from 9th to 11th January 2023 at LA Futsal ground, Hattiban, Lalitpur.
The futsal tournament, as a part of the 5th Youth Talent Quest, was organized to facilitate and enhance opportunities for Networking, Team Building and Rewards & Recognition among PATA Nepal Chapter members. Nine teams representing PATA Nepal members including Soaltee Hotel, GATE, Mid-Valley Int'l, Global College Int'l, NATHM, IST and LACM made active participation in the tournament.
The Little Angels' College of Management (LACM) became the Champion, defeating the International School of Tourism and Hotel Management (IST) in the final. The winning team got rewarded with a Trophy, Medals, Certificates, and Cash prize of NRs. 20,000, along with Rafting Trip to Trishuli/Bhotekoshi hosted by Trekking Venue Nepal. Similarly, the First Runner-Up team received a trophy, medals, certificates, a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, and round-trip cable car tickets hosted by Chandragiri Hills.
In the tournament, LACM's Sijan Khadka and Rahul Khadka were rewarded as the Best Goalkeeper and the Best Player respectively. They received trophies, certificates and the reward of a round-trip cable car and luncheon hosted by Chandragiri Hills.
The tournament was also supported by Manakamana Cable Car, Nabil Bank, Buddha Air, KGH Group of Hotels, Seven Lakes Resort, Chandragiri Hills Resort, Community Homestay, Highground Adventure Nepal, and Trekking Venue Nepal. Public Speaking Competition, the last competition under the 5th Youth Talent Quest, will be held on 30th January alongside the Destination Marketing Conclave (DMC), the upcoming event by PATA Nepal Chapter, in Itahari, province 1.
