PATA Nepal Concludes Strategic Workshop
PATA Nepal Chapter organized a Strategic Workshop at Mid-Valley International College, Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu. Mr. Dileep Agrawal, Founder of WorldLink, led a brainstorming session with the Executive Committee Members and Secretariat to discuss priority actions and strategies to enhance the association's engagement and advocacy roles for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The session was productive, outlining several priority committees designed to lead the organization in a more robust, sustainable, and productive manner. The newly formed priority committees are:
1) Fundraising & Finance Supervision Committee: This committee includes executive members, including Ms. Reetal Rana, Mr. Khem Lakai, Mr. Narendra Dev Bhatta, Mr. Bhuti Chand Thakur, Mr. Anil Ghimire, Mr.Prakash Chandra Lohani and Ms. Anju Shrestha from the secretariat.
2) Membership Committee: Comprising Mr. Khem Lakai, Ms. Sarita Lama, Mr. Sunil Bahadur Bhattarai, Mr.Himmat Puri, Ms.Tenzing Peyang Lama, Ms.Lhakpa Phuti Sherpa and Ms. Mandira Bhandari from the secretariat.
3) Member Services Committee: Including Ms. Smritee Kala Pant, Mr. Binod Adhikari, and Ms. Imu Regmi, with Ms. Sabina Rawat from the secretariat.
4) Events Committee: Comprising Mr. Rupesh Shrestha, Mr. Prabhakar Khadka, Mr. Dinesh Maharjan, Mr.Jan Bishowkarma, Mr.Anil Ghimire, Mr. Suman Ghimire, Ms. Sarita Lama, and Mr. Suresh Singh Budal from the secretariat.
In addition to these new committees, the following standing committees and their respective conveners, endorsed during the first Executive Committee Meeting in Pokhara, were reaffirmed:
