The Nanee is situated in the world heritage historical city of Bhaktapur - an ancient Newar city in the eastern corner of Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. It is located about 13 kilometers from the capital city, Kathmandu.

With 18 uniquely designed rooms, The Nanee is dedicated to connecting travelers from around the world and creating a uniquely memorable experience, in the ‘Museum of Life’.

  

The Nanees' key purpose is to provide a comfortable oasis where our guests connect and experience the living heritage of Bhaktapur and for our visitors/dwellers to ensure the preservation of the Newar culture within one of the oldest living historical cities in the world. It encourages its dwellers to connect with each other and experience the joy of community life through the exploration of the local art & architecture, cuisine, hand-made crafts, festivals, and traditions.

 

The Nanees' guests and visitors can enjoy the panoramic views and experience the city’s culture on the rooftop where they can enjoy a beverage with some local cheese platters or cold cuts while watching the sunset. As a hub for social interaction on the rooftop, our Chef’s Table offers high-end dinners for limited guests and cooking classes by our chefs, where the chef tells the story behind each dish. The Rooftop also features a modern flexible design of a show kitchen which can be used for special events, providing a memorable experience.
